Debates en el SFM / Debates at SFM

Lucas Casanova y Mariel Maciá moderarán 2 debates orientados exclusivamente a los profesionales iberoamericanos. Estos debates se desarrollarán en idioma español en el marco del Programa de Formación de LesGaiCineMad SFM que se realizará del 2 al 6 de Noviembre de 2009 dentro del 14 LesGaiCineMad - Festival Internacional de Cine LGBT de Madrid organizado por Fundación Triángulo.

Los debates son:

- LesGaiCineMad SFM y Red de Festivales CineLGBT. ¿Qué son? ¿Cómo funcionan? ¿Cómo pueden apoyarme en mis proyectos? (30 th Oct - 12-14 h – Español - C/Prado, 21 – Madrid)

- Punto de Revisión. ¿Cómo ha funcionado el 1er LesGaiCineMad SFM para ti? ¿Cómo podemos mejorarlo el próximo año? (9 th Nov - 12-14 h – Español - C/Prado, 21 – Madrid)

Lucas Casanova es el Productor de LesGaiCineMad. Además es escritor y docente especializado en Cine Documental y Comunicación Social. Se ha recibido como Analista en Medios de Comunicación en la Universidad del Salvador en Buenos Aires. Ha escrito para numerosas publicaciones de interés general en Argentina, Brasil y España. Es Gestor Cultural dedicado a la producción de Festivales de Cine con calado social en España y Latinoamérica; entre los que se destaca el LesGaiCineMad (Festival Internacional de Cine Gai Lésbico y Transexual de Madrid), organizado desde 1996 por la Fundación Triángulo. Desde 2005 y hasta 2009 ha sido miembro del Comité Asesor de Documenta Madrid. Desde 2006 representa al LesGaiCineMad en la vicepresidencia de FILMAD (Coordinadora de Festivales de Cine de Madrid) de la cual es miembro fundador. Desde 2007 colabora con los festivales miembro de la Red CineLGBT en tareas de producción y logística. En estos momentos se encuentra terminando su primera novela.

Mariel Maciá es la Responsable de Industria y Mercado de LesGaiCineMad. Es guionista, directora y productora de cine que ha obtenido numerosos premios y reconocimientos internacionales. Desde que en 2006 su cortometraje “Flores en el Parque (o los primeros besos)” fuera estrenado en LesGaiCineMad obteniendo el premio a “Mejor Cortometraje” y “Mejor Obra española” su obra ha recorrido los festivales de todo el mundo hasta convertirse en uno de los referentes del cine LGTB. Luego con el estreno de “A domicilio (o incluso también el amor)” y la obtención por segundo año consecutivo del premio a “Mejor Cortometraje” en LesGaiCineMad. Mariel ha tenido la posibilidad de recorrer el mundo a través de la presentación de su trabajo en Festivales LGTB lo que le ha dado los contactos, la ilusión y la ambición de trasladar su experiencia a su mercado local. En estos momentos está trabajando en desarrollar su primer largometraje.

El Programa de Formación del LesGaiCineMad SFM es Gratuito. Para participar debes estar acreditado.

Lucas Casanova and Mariel Maciá will conduct 2 Debates (only for Spanish Speaking Professionals) within LesGaiCineMad SFM Training Programme that will be held form 2nd to 6th November 2009 as part of LesGaiCineMad -14th Madrid ’s International Lesbian, Gay & Transexual Film Festival organized by Fundación Triángulo.

The Debates are:

- Checkpoint. How did the 1st LesGaiCineMad SFM work for you? How can we improve for next year? (9 th Nov - 12-14 h – Spanish - C/Prado, 21 – Madrid)

Lucas Casanova is LesGaiCineMad Producer. He is also a writer and a teacher specialized in Documentary Cinema and Mass Media. He has a degree as a Mass Media Analyst by Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He wrote for several magazines in Argentina, Brazil and Spain. He is a Cultural Manager dedicated to the production of Film Festivals with social value; where he stands out as the producer of LesGaiCineMad (Madrid International Lesbian Gay and Transsexual Film Festival), organized by Fundación Triángulo since 1996. From 2005 to 2009 he has been part of Documenta Madrid Advisory Board and Documenta Madrid Guests Coordinator. Since 2006 he has represented LesGaiCineMad as FILMAD Vicepresident (Madrid’s Film Festivals Coordination Board) of which he is founding member. Since 2007 he has collaborated with the members of CineLGBT Network on production and logistics. At the moment he is finishing his first novel.

Mariel Maciá is LesGaiCineMad Head of Industry and Market. She is a filmmaker who has obtained several awards and international recognition. In 2006 her shortfilm "Flowers at the Park (or first kisses)" was released in LesGaiCineMad obtaining the "Best Shortfilm" and "Best Spanish Film" awards. Her work has toured film festivals all over the world winning several awards and it has become one of the reference points for LGBT cinema. One year later, with the release of "At home (or love as well)" she won for the second consecutive year the "Best Shortfilm" award at LesGaiCineMad and she has had the possibility to travel the world presenting her film and collecting awards at LGTB Film Festivals. That has given her the contacts, the vision and the ambition to take her experience to her local market.
At the moment she is working in her first feature film.

LesGaiCineMad SFM Training Programme has no fee. All the other Seminars are in English and to attend you should be accredited.
