What is your film about?

In a nutshell, it's Thelma and Louise with two kids in the backseat
and a body in the trunk of the car

How is it doing in the festival circuit? Has it received any award? Any other merit?

The festivals have been great to us. We have won several prizes...so
far:

Jury Prize, Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival
Best Director, Calgary Gay and Lesbian Film Festival
Best Actress (Laura Harring) Gasparilla Film Festival and Outfest
Best Lesbian Film, Q Cinema, Fort Worth
Audience Award, Birmingham Gay and Lesbian Film Festival


Who are the members of the cast and how was your relationship with them?

Laura Harring (Anora)
Jill Marie Jones (Imogene)
Oded Fehr (Cheb)

My relationship with the cast was easy and completely lovely. They are gorgeous and talented.


How was the production process?

The fact that it was a low budget and shot in 15 days was tough, but
we did it. And we did it because I had exceptional people working
beside me - Kara Stephens (DP), Maurin Scarlata (Production Designer)
and an incredible cast.

Are you coming to LesGaiCineMad in November to present your film?

I'd like to but I'm still working on it.

¿De qué trata tu película?
En una cáscara de nuez, es Thelma y Louise con dos niños en el asiento trasero y un cuerpo en el tronco del coche.

¿Cómo está funcionando en festivales? ¿Ha recibido algún premio? ¿Algún otro mérito destacable?
Los festivales han sido muy buenos con nosotros. Hemos ganado varios premios...hasta ahora:

¿Quiénes son los actores y qué tal fue tu relación con ellos durante la preparación y rodaje de la película?

Mi relación con el equipo ha sido muy buena, completamente encantadora. Los actores son magníficos y muy talentosos.

¿Cómo fue el proceso de producción?
El hecho de ser un proyecto de bajo presupuesto y rodado en 15 días ha sido dificil, pero lo conseguimos. Y lo hicimos porque estaba rodeada de gente excepcional - Kara Stephens (DP), Maurin Scarlata (Diseñador de Producción) y un equipo increíble.

¿Vienes a LesGaiCineMad en Noviembre para presentarla?
Me encantaría pero todavía estoy trabajando en ello.
