Todd Williams at the SFM Training Programme! / Todd Williams en el Programa de Entrenamiento del SFM!

Todd Williams will conduct the Seminar “Independent Production in USA. From script to screen and how to get noticed in Hollywood” (6 th Nov - 12-14 h – English - C/Prado, 21 – Madrid) within LesGaiCineMad SFM Training Programme that will be held form 2nd to 6th November 2009 as part of LesGaiCineMad -14th Madrid ’s International Lesbian, Gay & Transexual Film Festival organized by Fundación Triángulo.

Todd Williams is a co-founder and partner of UPLOAD FILMS, a production company based in Los Angeles and committed to producing and financing filmmaker-based projects that establish fresh voices and expand the vocabulary of independent film. Upload's award winning films have included the romantic comedy “Drool”, starring Laura Harring and “Shotgun Stories”, starring Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon.

Todd also works at the University of California/Los Angeles as a Visiting Asst. Professor teaching in the Graduate Program for Producers. Courses cover all aspects of film producing, with a concentration on both the independent film world and selling projects to Hollywood studios.

Previously, he was the Vice President of Creative Affairs for the Yari Film Group, where he served as Co-Producer on comedy “The Chumscrubber” starring Ralph Fiennes and Glenn Close, romantic comedy “Gray Matters” starring Heather Graham and “First Snow”, a thriller starring Guy Pierce which was written and directed by Oscar-nominated screenwriter Mark Fergus.

Todd Williams será ponente en el Seminario “Producción Independiente en USA. Desde el Guión hasta la pantalla y cómo hacerse notar en Hollywood.” (6 th Nov - 12-14 h – Inglés - C/Prado, 21 – Madrid) en el Programa de Formación de LesGaiCineMad SFM que se realizará del 2 al 6 de Noviembre de 2009 dentro del 14 LesGaiCineMad - Festival Internacional de Cine LGBT de Madrid organizado por Fundación Triángulo.

Todd Williams es co-fundador y socio de UPLOAD FILMS, una empresa productora con sede en Los Ángeles comprometida con la producción y financiación de proyectos de cine de autor que promueva voces frescas y expanda el vocabulario del cine independiente. Las películas ganadoras de premios de UPLOAD FILMS incluyen la comedia romántica “Drool” protagonizada por Laura Harring y “Shotgun Stories” protagonizada por el nominado a los Oscar Michael Shannon.

Todd también trabaja en la Universidad de California/Los Ángeles como Asistente de Profesor visitante enseñando en los programas de Post Graduados en Producción. Los cursos cubren todos los aspectos de producir una película, concentrándose tanto en el mundo de las producciones independientes como en la venta de proyectos para los estudios de Hollywood.
